API6D Through Conduit Slab Parallel Gate Valve

Gate valves have a flat disc called gate that travels perpendicular to the flow stream. They are operated by manual hand wheel for small sizes, gear operated hand wheels for larger sizes.This design is ideal to minimize pressure drops and to prevent accumulation of external materials such as slurries into the valve cavity. This valve type is widely used for oil & gas transportation and complies to the API6D standard.Gate valves don’t have the flow control function.It’s only be used as on-off purpose.
